Cabin #1 is amazing. Weather you have a small group or a large group, it can handle either. It has everything you need. Very clean on right on the White river. If you want a fishing guide or just take a trip down the river, you can find both. It's an amazing, peaceful place.
We stayed at unit three at the lodge for our anniversary, and I can't brag enough about the location. The interior was beautiful. Everything was clean and neat. The views were my favorite. My husband and I watched the stars and fireflies at night. Then we watched the mist crawl across the white river early in the morning.
The location was fantastic and so are thr views. The place it's self could use a deep cleaning with stuff being moved and cleaned and then put back. Other than that it is perfect and worth every penny. Second time renting from them and it's both been great 2 different locations. We can't wait to go back.
Amazing Stay at Newland’s Resort - Cabin #4 Our family of 7 stayed at Cabin #4 over Labor Day weekend, and it was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway and some incredible fishing. From the start, Mike, the owner, was extremely helpful, answering all our questions and making sure we had everything we needed before the trip. He even checked in with us after the first day to ensure our stay was going smoothly. The location is easy to find, right on the White River and close to Bull Shoals Dam. The cabin itself is newly renovated, beautifully decorated in a fishing theme, and spotless. It had all the amenities we needed, including fast Wi-Fi and plenty of TV channels. A real highlight was the Traeger pellet smoker for grilling—I’ve never stayed at a cabin with such a great feature before! The beds were comfortable, and the whole cabin felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed fishing on the shore and caught plenty of rainbow trout. The resort is peaceful, quiet, and very family-friendly, with other families around, making it great for kids. We can’t wait to come back for another stay!
We had a great time. The house was very nice and being so close to the White River was a huge bonus. The owners were very hospitable and the price was very fair. This resort is a great place for trout fishing. We will definitely be back for some more good memories. Thank you very much to Charles and Irena for making our stay nothing short of fantastic.
Our family (my wife and I plus two of our adult children with their kids) shared Cabin #1 July 8 - July 14. It was our seventh time at Newlands, and our fifth time in Cabin #1. The new owners (Ted and Elaine) have made some wonderful upgrades. The cabin is so close to the White River that the air temperature remains very comfortable throughout the day. We greatly prefer Newlands over Gastons because it is less commercial. It is the perfect getaway from city living. Both the adults and the children had a wonderful time. Plus -- great fishing!

Camp Newlands is a wonderful place for families to enjoy the river while utilizing modern housing and facilities! We have been to Camp Newlands many years with our Father-Daughter Fishing Trips. The service is always excellent and we highly recommend your family take advantage of the serene atmosphere and the superb trout fishing on the White River. You will create memories for a lifetime!
